Titan
Titan is the last of the three Primals, and is easily the hardest to wake.
Waking Titan
After a knockback, Titan will target three random players (excluding the MT) to be trapped in a Granite Gaol.
A boulder will spawn opposite Titan and explode in an AoE. When a Granite Gaol is hit by this AoE, it will explode and leave behind a sludge puddle that slows movement and applies a DoT. This explosion will also trigger any other Granite Gaols hit.
Thus, the idea is to chain the three gaoled players between Titan and the opposite rock, resulting in a chain explosion that will put a sludge puddle in contact with Titan.
Titan gains a stack of Aetherically Charged for each DoT tick applied by this sludge puddle.
The following mechanics will also change when Titan is woken:
Normal | Woken | |
---|---|---|
Landslide | Five straight-line AoEs. | Five straight-line AoEs, followed by a second set of five straight-line AoEs that bisect the first set. |
Weight of the Land | Two sets of baited AoEs under random players. | Three sets of baited AoEs under random players. |
The MT will take hate at the start of the fight.
1. Have the MT tank Titan facing south, with the party North. Titan opens with Earthern Fury (heavy raid damage), and start a Rock Buster → Mountain Buster sequence. Mountain Buster is particularly dangerous because it is always preceeded with a Rock Buster. | |
2. Players then target targeted for two sets of baited Weight of the Land. Simply stack together behind Titan to bait the first set, dodge left/right to bait the second set at the sides before coming back. When the second set of Weight of the Lands explodes, Titan will quickly turn to face a random cardinal direction before jumping. |
Waking Titan
3. Move to the opposite side of where Titan faced before he jumped. | |
4. Move up to Titan. A formation of boulders will spawn on the opposite side of the arena with a hole on either the left or the right. Position yourself just slightly to the left or right of Titan to get knocked back into the hole. | |
5. Knockback. This cannot be nullified with Arm's Length/Surecast. | |
5. Three random players (excluding the MT) will be targeted by Granite Gaols while Titan readies a set of Landslides. A boulder will drop in the gap that was made earlier and explode. The goal is to make a chain of boulders to connect Titan to that first exploding boulder. Gaoled players need to dodge this Landslide. | |
7. Titan will do a second Landslide while the bomb boulders explode. Gaoled players will not need to dodge this Landslide, but will need to join the party on Titan's left as soon as their Gaol explodes as a sludge puddle will be left behind. | |
8. While the gaols explode, Titan will begin a series of 8x Tumults. If done correctly, the three gaoled players will leave behind a chain of sludge puddles that will reach Titan. Each tick Titan stands in a sludge puddle will give Titan a stack of Aetherically Charged.

Woken Titan
9. With the party stacked together on the left, Titan starts a series of two Weight of the Lands. During this time, Titan will wake with "All my fury I shall bring to bear against thy kind!" | |
10. Second set of Weight of the Lands. | |
11. Titan then readies another set of Landslides. However, now that Titan is awake, there will now be two sets of Landslides. Simply move into the first set of Landslides to dodge the second. | |
12. Second set of (untelegraphed) Landslides now that Titan is woken. These Landslides bisect the first set.
|
Mario Kart
13. Titan will once again briefly turn to face a cardinal direction before jumping. The party moves to the opposite side of where Titan faced to avoid lethal Geocrush damage, and the arena shrinks again. | |
14. One random healer will be gaoled. This time, the Granite Gaol will need to be quickly destroyed by the party to give time for the healer to move out of the way of an upcoming set of Landslides. (Destroying the Gaol after the Landslide risks it blowing up and wiping the raid.) | |
15. First set of telegraphed Landslides. Dodge into this set of Landslides to avoid getting hit by the follow-up set. | |
16. Second set of (untelegraphed) Landslides. | |
17. Titan will then do another set of 8x Tumults before doing another Rock Buster → Mountain Buster combo on the ST.
| |
18. Rock Boulders will drop in the center, removing it from play. Titan will start a set of three Weights of the Land. Tanks and Melee will rotate anti-clockwise while healers and ranged rotate clockwise away from Titan. | |
19. Second set of Weight of the Land. | |
20. The third set of set Weight of the Lands will be accompanied by another Landslide. Keep running and dodge into the first set of Landslides. | |
21. Second set of Landslides. | |
22. The MT moves away from the party to take another Rock Buster → Mountain Buster sequence. Stack in the center to prepare to bait Weight of the Lands. (Most groups will kill Titan by this point.) | |
23. First set of Weight of the Lands. | |
24. Second set of Weight of the Lands. | |
25. Third set of Weight of the Lands. Titan will then start another set of 8x Tumults. After that, Titan will jump, become untargetable and enrage (Earthern Fury). |
When a woken Titan is defeated, it will also leave behind a light puddle that will give a player the Beyond Limits buff.
Beyond Limits (Titan) | Melee |
Ultima Transition
At this point, a healer, a caster, and a melee should have the Beyond Limits buff.
When a player with the Beyond Limits uses an LB3, the buff will be consumed and the LB3 will be replenished. This lets the party LB3 four times in a row (in order):
- Caster
- Healer
- Melee
- Tank
Start the Caster LB when the Magitek Bits land (and the party takes impact damage). All other LBs can be used as soon as the LB3 bar replenishes.
